Church with a glass spire - artists concept of a church in Motopia Model of a project to build a revolutionary community for 30000 people in which roads are moved up to rooftop level so that the entire ground area is given over to pedestrians. The project, Motopia , is mooted by the Glass Age Development Committee convened by Pilkington Brothers and a site chosen just west of Staines reservoirs The Comittee believe that this is the answer to road casualties which continue to rise.
