George "Machine Gun" Kelly and his wife, Kathryn, both of whom are on trial for the alleged abduction of millionaire Charles Urshel. Shortly before this picture was taken, Kelly was struck by a federal agent when Kelly attempted to join in with an argument his wife had with the fluctuating, 9 October 1923. According to the federal agent Kelly lifted his manacled arm threatening, consequently he was struck the back of the revolver. 10 October 1933
