H. V. Kaltenborn, dean of American News Commentators, is surrounded by souvenirs from 31 years as a news analyst as he celebrates his 75th birthday (9th of July). Among his treasured mementos are a silver cup, presented for outstanding service during the Munich crisis; 3 oversized Phi Beta Kappa key and plaque presented when he was admitted to the Select Society; and an initialled down, which he wore as Fall Guy for the Circus Saints and Sinners.
