Dante's 28,000 Guineas Bother. Sayajirao, two-year-old brother of Dante (1945, Derby winner) for whom the Maharajah of Baroda paid 28,000 Guineas at the yearling sales, made his first appearance at a race course today at Lingfield (Surrey), but to the disappointment of race goers did not run in the Jacks Bridge Plate, for which he had been entered. Picture shows, Sayajirao in the paddock at Lingfield today, Friday, in the care of J Morahan, whose charge makes his one of the most responsible jobs on the Turf. 12 July 1946
