Second Lieutenant Diana Napier, the only English woman serving with the Polish army, passed through London today from W Germany on her way by New York to surrender dryland sleeve with her husband Richard Tauber. In uniform since 1940 Diana Napier saw action with the Polish army at Wilhelmshaven and for the last few months of the war worked in casualty clearing stations and hospitals near the front.
