A six foot long model of the 'Mauretania' made from 14,000 matches is the latest model liner to have been made by Mr Joseph Ward of 4th Avenue, limeside. Mr Ward, who is a boiler coverer, has built models varying from six foot long 'Lancastria' using all 41,854 matches to the miniture 'Queen Mary' made with five matches, which was presented to the Duke of Windsor.
