A young London dress designer rapidly coming to the fore is 32 year old Julian Sayers, who two years ago was fighting with the Free French Commandes. He began his career as a leading budapest couturier and later moved to Paris where he worked in the Art School of Paul Colin and later under Maggy Rouff and Schiaparelli. 1940 saw him in the French Army. When France fell he escaped from Paris to Lisbon with forged papers then came to London to join the Free French Forces. [Some text missing from caption] 27 March 1947
