The six labrador dogs, owned and trained by the Metropolitan Police Force for assistance in handbag snatching incidents and suppression of housebreaking, were on show today at the Imber Court Police Training Centre. Methods which have been used in the 14 "dog" arrests so far made and new drill being taught the dogs were demonstrated. An indication of the success which the dog patrol has achieved since the recent inception is that after last week's dog arrest in Hyde Park there was no handbag snatching incidents reported from that area over the week - end for the first time in years.
