After parading at Wellington Barracks, this afternoon, units of the RAF, WAAF, AA Command, Nursing Service, Royal Observer Corps and of the RAF Association, marched to Westminster Abbey for a service of thanksgiving for the victory of the Battle of Britain. More than 800 officers and men attended, and the King was represented at the service by Air Marshal Sir Roderick Hill.
