The Royal premiere British film "uncle Silas" starring Britain's greatest and most up-and-coming film actress Jean Simmons, was held at the Gaumont Cinema, Haymarket, this evening. Attending the show was Jean Simmons herself, theme it was her first really "grown-up" night out. The occasion the 18-year-old star wore a stunning Edwardian inspired gown in soft geranium shade.
