Helicopter lands in the City. A passenger was brought by helicopter to the heart of the City early this morning. He was landed in a Bell Irving helicopter. In a demonstration organised by the British Aviation Insurance Company to prove that an aircraft can land a businessman literally on their office doorsteps. Photo shows, the helicopter landing in front of the British Aviation Insurance Companies Office in Lime Street in the City, this morning. The aircraft was piloted by Mr Jimmy Youell and the passenger was Captain A G Lamplugh. 28 October 1947
