Guides presents for the Royal wedding. HRH Princess Elizabeth has personally chosen wedding presents from the Girl Guide Movement. Half a million Guides have contributed for the gifts, which comprise a fine Chippendale, writing desk, fitted with nine drawers, and a late 18th-century 'Carlton house' writing table. A set of kitchen equipment will complete the present, spontaneous gifts from Girl Guides throughout the British Empire.
