It has been decided that women G.W.R announcers are to stay. Reunited during the war, they have proved admirably suited to the work and 40 of them are now employed at principal stations throughout the system. Others will be on the air at Wolverhampton, Pontypridd, Westbury and Carmarthen when the installations are completed.
