A 61-year-old housewife, Mrs Daisy Morris, was pinned by the wing of a Miles Magister plane which crashed in her garden at Nutfield, near Redhill, Surrey, today (Sunday). The two occupants of the plane, members of Redhill Flying Club, were killed. Mrs Morris, who escaped with a cut leg, was released by a neighbour, Mr F. Wayne. The plane was on the way to a lunchtime flying rally at Denham, Buckinghamshire. Photo shows firemen and police view the crashed and overturned plane in the back gardens of the cottages in High Street, Nutfield.
