ROBOT "Eric" with its builder Alan Herbert Reffel; mechanical engineer was designed by Captain William H. Richards in 1928 to deliver the opening address at the Exhibition of the Society of Model Engineers in London whose direction was the same Captain Richards. In reference to the sci-fi drama by Karel Capek (1890-1938) "RUR" (Rossumovi univerz鄉n?robotics) "Rossum's Universal Robots" published in 1920; its builder poses an acronym RUR; such as metal logo on his creature; as it was was produced in the factory of Rossum imaginary. In reality; creatures of the novel replicants were made with biological material and non-mechanical; however; the Czech writer; first coined the term "robot" comes from a term that was used in the Czechoslovak and later still to define the slave android mechanic.
