Tree resin assassin bug (Amulius sp.). Assassin bugs (family Reduviidae) are predatory insects that use their long rostrum (feeding tube, centre-left) to inject a lethal saliva into their prey, which liquefies the prey's insides so they can be sucked out. Amulius sp. assassin bugs collect large drops of sticky tree resin (whiteish) on each of their front legs (top and lower right) to attract and trap the small insects they prey on.
