The bust is in the museum dedicated to the national hero; which is part of the reconstructed city quarter in downtown Topola which is now called Karageorge's town (Karadjordjev grad). The bust was built by Petar Peri拧a Milic (born 1958 in Mostar). The restored town quarter re-evokes the 1810s revolutionary times in town. Part of the complex is as well the so called Karageorge's church (Crkva Presvete Bogorodice; church of Our Blessed Lady; Church of Holy Mother of God); built 1811 to 1813. The Karadorde museum in the only remaining tower of the old town fortress. Karadorde was born in Topola.
