Guy Fawkes, 1570  1606, aka Guido Fawkes, member of a group of provincial English Catholics who took part in The Gunpowder Plot of 1605, aka Gunpowder Treason Plot or the Jesuit Treason, a failed assassination attempt against King James I of England and VI of Scotland.
