Snow geese. V-formation of flying snow geese (Anser or Chen caerulescens). The snow goose is native to North America, breeding in the northernmost areas, but migrating as far south as Mexico for the winter. Flocks of these birds may contain thousands of individuals. The snow goose prefers marshy areas, and eats seeds, leaves and buds. Photographed in the Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge, Delaware, USA.
