Female loggerhead sea turtle (Caretta caretta) laying eggs in a pit she has dug in a tropical beach. She clambered up the beach at high tide and laid up to 50 round ping-pong ball like eggs, which she will cover over with sand before she returns to the sea . The warm sand will incubate the eggs.
