Ornate Cantil (Agkistrodon bilineatus taylori), young specimen with yellow tail tip. The venomous snake wiggles the yellow tip of its tail to lure lizards and other prey items within striking distance. This coloration is lost as the snake matures. This subspecies is found in S. Mexico and Central America. (Controlled conditions.).
