Male and female Pacific Chorus Frogs, Pseudacris regilla, photographed in Yosemite National Park. The male is about to clasp the female with his forelegs in a mating behavior called amplexus. The female is fat with eggs which she will soon lay in the nearby stream. These frogs are found in both green and brown color forms. The genus name has been changed from Hyla to Pseudacris.
