The Giant Caribbean Sea Anemone (Condylactis gigantea) is the only Caribbean anemone that can grow up to 30 cm (12 in.). Over 30 species of reef fish are known to associate with it. Nine species are able to live amongst its tentacles with no ill affect. It can creep along on it's basal disk to fins a suitable location on the reef. Photographed in Grand Cayman.
