Juvenile Southern Flounder, (Paralichthys lethostigma); two individuals photographed in the laboratory, both alive and healthy. The larger one is normally pigmented (90 days old, 43mm long), the other an albino (70 days old, 35mm long). The normally pigmented one has a bulging stomach containing the remains of cohorts it has cannibalized in a crowded fish tank. These small juveniles were caught in Aransas Bay on the Texas coast.
