Glimees near Movile (Hundertbucheln) in Transylvania, Romania. What geologists call glimees, a common feature in the Transylvanian Highlands, are not what they seem to be at first look: namely drumlins, remnants of past glaciation. They really are sedimentary sandstone complexes that slipped off the mountain slopes during heavy rains 8 - 9000 years ago.
