Lung, thick section, stained and capillaries injected. Blue-colored gelatin was forced into a fresh lung so that it filled the capillaries in the walls of alveoli. The tissue was then sectioned and stained (red). 3 portions of arterioles. Horizontal Field Width = 560 micrometers.
