The Sea Poison Tree/Putat Laut (Barringtonia asiatica) grows along shorelines where its flowers open at night and then fall to the ground in the morning. Seeds and other parts of the tree are used to make a fish poison for use in freshwater streams. Pulau Tiga National Park, Sabah, Malaysian Borneo.
