A somewhat rare winter snowstorm in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona transforms the landscape. The spindly arms of the ocotillo and the green pads of the prickly pear cacti welcome moisture any time of year. This image was taken along the Finger Rock Trail in the Santa Catalina Mountains on the northern edge of Tucson, Arizona.
