Color enhanced left lateral projection of the heart and great vessels obtained from a 3D reconstruction following a spiral CT of chest. There is a normal appearance of the structures. In this projection the left ventricle is the large ovoid blue chamber visualized. Also seen are the pulmonary arteries arising from the right ventricle and the thoracic aorta.
