The neuron is a cell in the nervous system responsible for circulating information between the environment and the body, or within the body. Every neuron consists of a cellular body containing the nucleus with numerous dendrites, and with an axon surrounded by schwann cells. Axons and dendrites of different neurons contact and pass the information from cell to cell via specialized structures called synapsis.
