An investigator places a green filter over an alternate light source (Crime-lite 2) used to aid in the detection of body fluids and other trace evidence at crime scenes and in the forenesic laboratory. The LED light source provides general illumination and can be used as a flashlight, while a range of filters provide seven narrow band wavelengths in UV, violet, blue, blue-green, green, orange, and red.
