A molecular model of a dengue virus, a mosquito-bourne virus found mainly in tropical areas and can result in dengue fever, which includes symptoms such as fever, headache, joint paint and skin rashes. There are four serotypes, or variations, of the dengue virus which has made it difficult to produce a vaccine to prevent an infection from all four types.
