Black mold (probably Stachybotrys chartarum) spot on the ceiling of a bedroom below the attic, most probably developing in an area at the outer house wall where moisture from humid air in the room condenses in winter. The dark spots are located below the rafters in the attic thus pointing to a structural defect or faulty air circulation.
