The Space Shuttle Atlantis climbs towards space from Cape Canaveral, as part of mission STS-66, which lifted off on November 3rd, 1994. This was the first flight after two years of refurbishment. It returned to Earth on November 14th. Atlantis carried the ATLAS-3 spacelab. This photo was taken using a fisheye lens on a camera fitted to part of the launch tower.
