The Pacman Nebula (NGC 281). Deep in the center of NGC 281 are dark globuals of dust which may contain new stars with forming planets. The instruments used to produce this image were Meade 12' and 20'(luma) RCX 400 Telescopes with a Yankee Robotics Trifid-2 CCD camera. Exposure was with Astrodon 6nm HA, OIII, and SII filters for a duration of 200, 60, and 60 minutes respectively. The image was taken from Plano, a suburb of Dallas, Texas, USA.
