The Milky Way fades in the morning light as seen from the Assekrem Mountain in the Sahara, southern Algeria. Assekrem, means "the End of the World" in the old Saharan Tuareg language; it is known as one of the most scenic area of Sahara. Notable in the sky are planets Mars and Venus in the left above the raising morning light. Jupiter is the bright point high in the sky in the middle top. On the right, the orange light glow toward the south west is the oasis town of Tamanrasset some 80km away. Above it, the central budge of the Milky Way in the constellations Scorpius and Sagittarius is visible.
