Dhaulagiri mountain range (upper left to upper right) in the Nepalese Himalayas. This image was photographed from the International Space Station (ISS) at an orbiting altitude of 370 kilometers. The main feature of the range is Dhaulagiri (upper left), the seventh highest mountain in the world at a height of 8172 meters. The Tibetan Plateau in China is seen in the foreground. This image was taken by the Expedition 1 crew in 2000.
