Singing Honeyeater (Lichenostomus virescens). At Mt Liebig Aboriginal Community, Northern Territory, Australia. The tree it is on is Erythrina vespertilio variously called Bat's Wing Coral Tee, Grey Corkwood and Stuart Bean Tree. Aborigines use the seed pods to make into necklaces. The soft wood was used for coolamons or shallow dishes used by the women when gathering bush tucker.
