A fine photograph of an equally fine horse-drawn cab, with an open soft top, driven by the proprietor of the firm, W Haigh. Mr Haigh specialised in furniture removals, cabs and as a 'Daily Carrier'. The cab contains a group of women and children in their Sunday best. The photographer, H Bamforth was also (in addition to being one of the most important photographers in this part of the country), a pioneer filmaker!
