Three historic buildings at Kerikeri, North Island, New Zealand. On the left is New Zealand's oldest stone building, the Settlers Store, a storehouse dating from 1835, and on the right is the oldest wooden building, the Mission House (or Kemp House), dating from 1820. The small building in the middle distance is St James Church. Kerikeri is often described as the Cradle Of The Nation, being the site of the first permanent mission station in the country, and it has some of the most historic buildings in the country.
