View of the Monument to Minin and Pozharsky, a bronze statue on Red Square in Moscow, Russia. It was unveiled in the early 19th century, to commemorate prince Dmitry Pozharsky (seated) (1578-1642) and Kuzma Minin (standing) (d. 1616), who gathered a volunteer Russian army and expelled the Poles from the Kremlin, thereby putting an end to the Time of Troubles in 1612.
