Sir Oswald Ernald Mosley, 6th Baronet (1896-1980), British right-wing politician, founder and leader of the British Union of Fascists (BUF). Seen here taking part in a fascist rally, with almost everyone raising their right arm in a Nazi style salute. This kind of activity led to the passing of the Public Order Act 1936, which included the banning of political uniforms and military style organisations. Soon after the Second World War began, Mosley was interned, together with his wife Diana Mitford, and they spent much of the war in a house in the grounds of Holloway Prison, North London.
