The Embassy Club in London in 1924, owned by restaurateur Luigi with entertainment supplied by (Bert) Ambrose and the Embassy Club band. According to The Tatler, the Embassy, 'has for many years been the gayest and brightest centre in London. It is crowded nightly by notables in the social, sporting and dramatic worlds, who come to sample the wonderful cuisine and dance to Ambrose's famous band.'
