The funeral procession of General William Booth, founder of the Salvation Army, which took place on 29th August 1912 after Booth's death on 20th August and a lying-in-state at the Congress Hall, Clapton, London. London's Last Tribute to General Booth: the funeral cortege passing the Royal Exchange where a great crowd of spectators had gathered. The funeral service itself took place at Olympia, attended by thousands of people.
