The nursing staff at Egginton Hall Hospital in the heart of Derbyshire, an 'up-to-date' Red Cross hospital in Derbyshire, established by Mrs Arthur Dugdale at the outbreak of the First World War. A special point was made of training all the Red Cross probationers in practical and theoretical nursing. Pictured are, back row - Miss R. Baxter (St. Thomas's Hospital), Miss M.
