Annie Kenney Suffragette. Annie Kenney (1879-1953) portrait. Staunch supporter of the Pankhursts, committing the first militant act at Manchester's Free Trade Hall in 1905. Served four prison sentences and because Deputy Leader of the W.S.P.U when Christabel Pankhurst fled to Paris in 1912.
