Suffragette Arson Hurst Park. Shows the destroyed Grand Stand at Hurst Park Racecourse, 8th June 1913, caused by an arson attack by militant suffragettes 'Kitty Marion' (1871-1944) and Betty Giveen. Marion wrote later, the Grand Stand would 'make a most appropriate beacon' to commemorate Emily Wilding Davison's actions at the Epsom Derby. Davison died later that day.
