Suffrage N.U.W.S.S Gateshead-on-Tyne. A group of women from the Gateshead branch of the National Union of Women's Suffrage Societies, pose in a garden. The location and date are unknown, but it may be just before or after the N.U.W.S.S Pilgrimage of 1913. Many wear the circular N.U.W.S.S Red, White and Green badge while the woman at the front and extreme right (in white) may be Miss. C.M. Gordon, North East Organiser who played a major role in the 'Newcastle to London' route of the 1913 Pilgrimage.
