SS Anselm, a British turbine steamship of the Booth Steamship Company. Flying both the English and Brazilian flags - hinting at the standard route of passage for this particular vessel. Converted to a troop ship in 1940 and sunk by a German submarine in 1941 with the loss of 254 lives.
