Two photographs depicting a rowing at regatta at Marlow for blinded soldiers and sailors from St. Dunstan's during the First World War. The photo on the left shows a view of the finish of the fours race with the bungalow annexe team winning from the house annexe. On the right, Private J London, the winner of the single sculling is pictured in his boat with Miss Gordon, one of the nurses from St. Dunstan's who acted as cox. St. Dunstan's was founded by Sir Arthur Pearson (visually impaired himself) to provide rehabilitation and training to men who had lost their sight in the Great War.
